Monitor Concepts

Scan

The budget unit in ZENO Visibility. Formula: Prompts ร— Models ร— Retrievals / 100 = Scans. One scan equals 100 test operations. The fewer scans a scope uses, the more budget remains for other scopes.

Scope

A clearly defined topic or brand area that you monitor in ZENO Visibility. It bundles prompts, AI models and competitors in a shared monitoring context. Scopes are unlimited from the Monitor plan.

Semantic Core

The automatically generated semantic foundation of your topic. It contains subtopics, search intents, keyword clusters and a thematic map โ€“ the basis for all generated content.

AI Visibility Index

AI-powered indicator for the structural quality of your content system. Evaluates across 5 criteria: Keyword Coverage, Structural Depth, Citability, Linking Density and Audience Relevance. Each criterion is scored 0โ€“20 via AI analysis. Reflects content maturity โ€” not actual visibility in AI models.

Authority System

A complete content package automatically generated by ZENO Visibility โ€“ blog posts, FAQs, comparisons, case studies and hub pages. Optimized for AI visibility and semantic authority. Important: For LLMs to find this content, it must be publicly accessible on your website (no noindex, no robots block) and included in your XML sitemap.

Mention Rate

Percentage of tests in which your company was mentioned by AI models. A higher rate means better visibility in AI-generated responses.

Share of Voice

Shows what percentage of AI mentions you receive compared to your competitors. A high share signals strong market presence in AI models.

Scan Test

Simultaneously testing multiple prompts across multiple AI platforms. Select categories and platforms, then receive AI-generated action recommendations after completion.

Quick Test

Single test of a prompt on an AI platform of your choice. Instantly shows whether your company is mentioned, with position, score and detected competitors.

Visibility Radar

Spider chart with 5 axes: Mention Rate, Platform Coverage, Avg. Score, Category Breadth and Competitive Position. Your values (red) vs. Benchmark (dashed).

Avg. Score

Average of all visibility scores (0โ€“100) across all tested prompts and platforms. The higher, the more prominently and positively your company is presented in AI responses.

Citation

When an AI model cites your company or content as a source. Citations are the ultimate achievement in AI visibility โ€“ they signal true semantic authority.

Answer Diff

Version comparison of AI responses over time. Shows when and how answers to the same prompt changed โ€“ and whether your visibility is rising or falling.

Automatic, recurring batch tests (daily or weekly). ZENO Visibility tests your visibility in the background and triggers alerts when significant changes occur.

Hub Page

Central topic page that bundles and links all related content (blog, FAQ, comparisons, cases). Hub pages are the anchor of your internal linking strategy.

Content Discovery

Market-related analysis with four areas: trending topics, underrepresented niches, competitor content gaps and recommended content strategies.

Impulse Analysis

Identifies concrete quick wins โ€“ prioritized action impulses sorted by the ratio of 'low effort / high impact'. Suggestions can be directly adopted as projects or idea collections.

Scan Budget

Your monthly scan allowance. Formula: Prompts ร— Models ร— Retrievals รท 100 = Scans. The budget resets monthly; additional scan packs can be purchased anytime.
